I just bought the 60CS GPS - where do I get the maps for coastal areas? Any preferences/experiences with different brands? |

Hi Bill,
The Corps of Engineers has a page on their website that allows you to download free NOAA charts of the costal waterways and inland waterways. You need to confirm what formats your unit will accept. They do offer them in shape files and one other format that escapes me.
Check out this website: http://www.iwr.usace.army.mil/ndc/index.htm
Good luck.

You can also use maptech.com. Their format is a lot easier to use. |
