First you have to find out what the settings are for your boat. North Sails web site has tuning guides for many boats. Their guide for C-22s are listed in lbs, tension. Go to the Loos web site and they will tell you what the number settings for several diameters of rigging are equal to in lbs. For instance 18 on the Loos gauge may be 80 lbs for one diameter, 100 for another and 125 for yet another. |
