Hi, I lowered and stepped the mast for the first time to move the boat to another area, however, i cannot recall how the boom stays supported. Dumb I know. I took a picuture of it before we moved it. I think I am missing a part holds up the boom at the mast. Can any one help me as to how it it held up??

It's from the bottom of the boom. On the left side, you can see an aluminum casting that slides in the groove in the mast. I have a slug in the mast groove to keep it from falling to the deck. Cost is ~$5 at a marina supply shop.
