Anybody know where I can get a water faucet/pump for my 1989?

Thanks

Cataina Direct has a replacement for $60. Boat US has several models that might work for $45-$70 (Page 444).

I had looked in the CD book under faucet and pump. After your response I went through it again and found it under galley hand pump. I have to start thinking in nautical terms. Thanks again for the help.

I snapped off the tube when something fell on it. Replacement was expensive from here so I reinforced the area with an aluminum sleeve that fit just right over the plastic flange that holds the tube. Fixed for free instead. Think laterally and save your boat units.

Paul,

I just bought my boat and it did not have a galley hand pump, just a hole, so I don't know what these even look like, but I should have my new one from CD in the next day or so. Your suggestion sounds like a good way to minimize breaking it.

Thanks

Dan,
Why would want to use the water tank in your sliding galley. Breeding ground for bacteria and your water taste's like plastic. You would be far better off bringing one of those 2 1/2 gallon jugs from the supermarket and parking it under the dining table. I have a sliding galley but I have never used the water tank.... too nasty looking.

Dan and I have a new style with a built in sink. If it's there, might as well use it. Just clean the system once in a while.

I received my galley hand pump from CD yesterday and it fit perfectly. It is much better than looking at the hole along side the sink. Ken, you got me thinking ... what I might do is install a y valve and have one line into a smaller water container that I would clean often and another into a wine container that I would replace often. A simple switch would turn water into wine. It would be white wine of course, unless any of you have a good remedy for removing red wine stains from the cockpit, as I am currently contemplating, very reluctantly, prohibiting red wine on my boat.
