I have a 1978 C22 with one sheave missing and another on the way out. The design of the traveler is o.k. but according to Catalina Direct I have to replace the entire traveler unit instead of replacing the sheaves. I could just as easy grind off the secured end of the pin, replace the sheave and use a s.s. nut and bolt. Now where to find a sheave. Any suggestions? The sheave is approximately a 3/8ths hole, width also 3/8ths and height approx. 3/4ths of an inch. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,

Try Sailnet. I searched on sheaves and found a Schaeffer Delrin Sheeve SCH62-020-01.

Michael Smalter,
Thanks for the info. I have ordered the delrin sheaves and will post in regards to the success of the task. Hopefully it will benefit others with the same problem.
