I recently purchased a used C-22 which did not have a main sheet but I do have all of the fittings for rigging one. I would like to know the length, diameter and type of line I should use to replace it so I can get started sailing. The main sheet runs from the end of the boom to the transom. |

The main sheet should be 65 feet in length, 3/8th thick and of a low stretch quality.

I recommend feeling any line you buy. I bought a new main halyard, and it is stiff and hard on the hands. Its OK for a halyard, but would be horrible for a jib sheet |
