I'm wanting to install a manual bilge pump on my New Style. Can someone point me to a discussion or drawings/photos of how it's done? I'm particularly interested in where the outlet was placed (assumed in the transom). There's a pad glassed into the port cockpit wall and I realise that's where the pump should go. What model is most commonly used?

I have an electric pump that I've made up as an emergency backup unit - it's free standing and plugs directly into the cigarette lighter; the pump, intake and output hoses are all loose (not fixed to the boat) and I can use the unit for other things like pumping out water out of tanks.
