WOW does that bring back memories. 26 years ago my wife and I had just married and moved to Savannah. We took an over night sailing class on a 37 foot ketch that sailed from Wilmington Island (Savannah) to Hilton Head. We spent the night and returned the next day. It was an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately it was so long ago that I have no insights to offer except that it is a very beautiful area. I do have one bit of advice. Take some time to visit River street in Savannah.
