Has anyone put boots on spreaders of a Capri 22? Catalina Direct says they don't stock these. They suggest cutting down boots for a Catalina 30, which they stock.
My 2004 CP-22 spreaders slant back such that they chafe the mainsail on a beam reach, or any broad reach. |

I haven't put them on a Capri 22, but I have put them on a Catalina 22. In the Catalina 22 section they have both the rubber boots and the leather tie on's. You would think one of those would work. |

Bob: Thanks. Hopefully the spreaders on C22 are the same blade as the CP22.
I can try that solution. I was guessing boots fro a C30 are too big. That's what the tech support C/D guy advised.
