Go to the C-22 National Assn. web site and look in the tech section and you will get all kinds of ideas.
If the pin or bushings are in bad shape you can get a new pin and, I think bushings from Catalina Direct.
I can have my keel out in about 2 hours just working by myself. I use a process similar to what is descibed in the tech section. The hardest part of me is steadying the keel once the lowering process begins. I have built a support out of 2X4s to keep it vertical. The vertical legs are about 2' long and spaced about 4" apart. |
