Catalina Yachts has built sailing dinghys for as long as they have been in business. Early offerings included the Omega 14 built until 1984 as well as the Coronado 15 which is now discontinued also. The Omega was modernized and upgraded to be introduced in 1986 as the Capri 14.2 which is still available. In 1995 a more modern dinghy, the Capri 16.5 was introduced.
