In the mid 90's Catalina began installing the galley sink under the countertop. If your sink is installed using this technique, there will be less room for the cutting board to rest on the sink flange. It will likely fit fine, but the board will shift farther toward the center of the sink and the edge will overhang the center divider slightly. On later boats, Catalina changed back to top mounted sinks when it was discovered that replacing an undermount sink required eight hours of labor.
