Mooring Cleat 6" Aluminum

A high quality upgrade to the original cleats used by Catalina for many years. The same size and shape as the originals, they are found as both mooring cleats and mast mounted halyard cleats

Cast of an aluminum alloy (AlMg6) with a high percentage of magnesium for superior strength and salt water resistance. Brightly polished for a clean appearance. Holes for 5/16" flat head fasteners are on 2" centers

Note: Hole spacing on the original cleats we have measured vary by as much as 1/4" (1/8" per side). You may need to ream the holes in the boat slightly. This might be a good time to fashion a backing plate to add strength in addition to Catalina's original flat washers.
