Replacement rubber boot for Whale bilge pumps. Fits our D1493 Whale "Urchin" pump, our Z2745 Whale "Titan " pump and the Whale 10. The Whale 10 pump is the bright yellow painted cast aluminum pump installed in many larger Catalinas.
This is the rubber boot that seals the deck plate to the pump mechanism. It prevents any water in the cockpit, whether sea water from a wave, or fresh water from your washdown hose from entering the interior of the hull or locker. The hole in the middle is where you insert the handle into the pump.
Important note: Bilge pumps were optional and therefore often installed after the original boat purchase. Please confirm by comparing our pumps to those in your boat that this is the part.
