Graphtex Ultra (GTU) shaft packing is a unique blend of W.L. Gore fibers and graphite fibers that are impregnated with PTFE. You're likely familiar with other W.L. Gore products including Goretex fabrics. The combination of fibers produces a packing that is strong, very durable, and thermal conductive.
