Our marine grade wire is tinned along it's entire length. Tinned wire prevents corrosion from creeping up and throughout the wire,
Corrosion compromises the ability of the wire to carry the load without a major voltage drop.
In addition, our marine grade is both larger and has finer strands than automotive wire. Automotive is up to 12% smaller than marine. Our wire lasts longer, is easier to route, and carries more electrical current than automotive.
