This fiberglass mast carrier simply rests on the bow pulpit of your Catalina 22, Capri 18, Capri 22, or Catalina 25 (standard rig only). It is padded to protect your mast and includes a hold down strap. Just hook one end of the strap to the stem fitting. The other end passes through the holes in the mast carrier,
around the mast and hooks back onto itself. Both the mast and the carrier are secured in one operation with the tensioning buckle included with the strap. Fast, easy, and secure!
Notes:
1) This mast carrier doesn't fit the early Catalina 22's that have a "flared" bow pulpit. To help determine if you have this pulpit please refer to the photo below.
2) This mast carrier will not work properly for the tall rig Catalina 25. The shape of the tall rig mast is larger and will not fit into the padded cradle of the mast carrier.
