Suitability for your boat
We make every effort to insure the information provided on our web site is accurate. However, we make no guarantee that the information offered is all-inclusive, nor that your boat matches our information exactly.
Every boat is individually built by hand. Hundreds of unrecorded changes were made at the factory over the years. And many obvious and not so obvious changes may have been made by previous owners. As a result it is impossible for us to be absolutely certain which part you need. Final responsibility for judging the suitability of a particular part for your boat rests with the buyer.
Shipping
Shipping quoted is for ground shipments for normal items within the U.S. Items which are large, heavy or of high value will not qualify for our standard shipping rates. If your items are non-conforming, we will call with a shipping estimate after you place your order and before your order is processed by the warehouse to confirm the shipping costs.
For foreign orders, expedited shipping, or non-conforming items, call 800/959-7245, fax to 916/843-1973 or e-mail sales1@catalinadirect.com for a shipping estimate. We will process your order as soon as we receive your express authorization of all additional shipping costs.
Returns
We are happy to accept returns for any reason within 30 days of shipment. We will refund your original purchase price, shipping not included. Refunds will be made using the same payment method as your original payment.
Exceptions: Some items may not be cancelled or returned once you place your order. Please choose carefully. These items include:
- Anything that we must cut to length including (by way of example but not limitation) line, rubrail, shear stripe tape, and most gasket material.
- Any item for which you specify a color, including (by way of example but not limitation) covers, upholstery, and colored sails.
- Any rigging made to your measurements or to match your existing rigging.
- Molded fiberglass parts (hatches, trays, lids etc) which are always made specially for you in response to your order
In the above cases all sales are final and no returns will be accepted.
All returns must be unused and in new condition and include all of their original packaging.
Return authorizations
Please call in advance for a return authorization number. Items returned without an RMA number will be refused.
Claims for shortages
Please check your shipment for accuracy immediately upon receipt. Claims for shortages must be made within 10 days of receipt.
