Gentlemen, I'm in the process of purchasing a new Main and Jib for my 02 Capri22. I do most of my sailing singlehanded and have found that the 135 that came with the boat is a bit much for me to handle by my self, on some occasions. I talked to Catalina and received a free blueprint to locate tracks/cars on the Cabin top for Jib sheeting. I'm now shopping around to determine track size, car type and winches, if neccessary.
I was wondering if anyone else has done this mod to a Capri, if so I would be interested in hearing from you and maybe learning some of the do's and dont's of your experience before I start drilling...

If you are planning to sail with a 110 I assume you are not racing much.
Why not install a CDI furler and have the sail re luffed. It is more expensive
but the setup will be variable for conditions and you will not have to go on
deck when single handing.
