That's what I do. It doesn't seem to be a problem. Our paint is so porous that it seems to be the only alternative to painting. Our teak is very rough and we go ahead and hit it with the washer too. It is pretty hard on the wood, but it certainly gets the black growth out of it. If we had our teak nicely finished we would have to protect it somehow. Pressure washing makes a quick clean job out of what is otherwise a long hard, fruitless ordeal. |
