Where does Catalina install the outlet for an electric bilge pump if a customer opts for one at the factory for a C22? I'm really having trouble with just the thought of drilling a hole anywhere in my boat for one |

I have a 1985 new style and the outlet is in the upper port transom. It is a couple of inches under the rub rail. The area is tight but reachable behind the fuel tank wall. Someone put the outlet on the starboard side of my 1977 c22 but I am going to patch and paint and move the outlet to the transom also. |

Thanks for the quick response Robert, is it near the port side corner of the stern? I ask this because I think it is impossible to drill and install a fitting directly the stern of the gas tank enclosure. |

I'll try to measure the exact location and see how they installed it. |

From the outside, the hole is about 5"-6" from the port side and 2" down from the rubrail. |
