I am considering buying a 1987 C22, but upon inspection, noticed flexibility in the foredeck between the anchor locker and the hatch. The owner stated to me that this is common, as catalina went from core construction to a single fiberglass layer starting in 1985.Is this correct? Should there be flexibility in that area, or should it feel rigid? |

Run, Mike, Run! There are plenty of other good late 80s Catalina 22s in the sea that do not have a flexing foredeck.
