Sometimes after a decent rain, one or the other cockpit cubbies on my '87 C22 will get a couple inches of water in it. This doesn't seem ideal, particularly since that's where I store the tails of my jib sheets and furling line. I've been thinking about drilling a small hole in them to drain out to the cockpit, but I'm always a little weird about adding new holes to my boat. Has anyone else done this? Does it seem like a bad idea? |

My 1988 has about an 1/8" or 3/16" hole at the front and back of the each cubby. Of course the lower the holes in the cubby the better, just not too low |
