I have two well-built North sails (main & 150% mylar genoa) that are dirty and used. I was wondering if any of you have had your sails refurbished at a place like www.sailcare.com? If so, how did they turn out? . I understand that Sailcare cleans the sails and then treates them with resin. Sailcare charges $94 for "reconditioning" at C22 main.
I plan to race next season (just projects this season) and want to use the sails for racing. New or reconditioned? Thanks for your responses. |

Time to refurbish this thread. ;-)
I've been looking at SailCare's web site. http://www.sailcare.com/
Does anyone have ANY experience with their service??? The sails for my 1984 C22 are original. Although they don't have any significant damage or stains, they are old and soft. I'm saving my pennies for new sails, but I wouldn't mind dropping $300 this Fall to have all 3 sails refurbished if the testimonials are true. |
