Hello to the group from Sunrise, #0868, C-22.
In my limited experience with my C-22, I've noticed that my mainsheet seems to always be in the way or in the wrong position when trying to single handle the boat.
Catalina Direct has a 'double ended mainsheet' setup that looks pretty good in the book, but I'd like to hear opinions or other ideas. I don't see it widely used on other C-22s to the area, so it has me wondering. Thanks.

I always drape the mainsheet over the tiller so it is always at hand if needed. Another option that racers use is to lead the line to the middle of the boom, then drop it to the cockpit floor. It is always in front of you and you never need to look back for it. I don't have any experience with a double-ended mainsheet. |
