Has anyone installed a wind gauge on their mast. How did you get the wire threw the cabin top. I want to be able to remove my mast for trailoring so I need to use a connector. Thanks

Rick, to put the wire through the deck you will need a connector the same or similar to the mast light connector. You said wind "gauge", is it going to be 'wind direction and speed"? The systems usually come with a set of connectors for going through the deck. The wire that comes with the 'hot wire' anemometer type is calibrated into the circuit, they will tell you not to cut the extra length, and don't, it works on the total resistance of the wire. Just coil the wire up and stow it some where along the way where it is not in the way.
