When taking your boats out for the winter (I'm storing mine on a trailer), do you do anything besides clean out the boat and cover with a tarp or some other cover? I'm taking my boat out for the first time, ideas will be helpful, Thanks.
Also, what happened to the FAQ maintenance page? Anyone know? |

James, make sure you empty the water system, or fill it with RV antifreeze. Take out anything that might burst if frozen. Remove the battery, top off the charge, and keep it in a warm place. Its also a good time to replace the lower end lube in the outboard. Its easy to do. I like the pump better than the tubes. |
