I just recently purchased a 1976 c27. I know there are a lot of similarities between the 22's and the 27's, but I was wondering if there is a forum specifically for the the 27's? |

Try trailersailor.com
I am thinking I saw a discussion list there for the 27's.
Good luck,

The best discussion link is http://www.catalina27.org/
This is the Catalina 27 Owners Association. These are the
sailors who are active with their boats.

This chat forum is hosted by Catalina Direct for Catalina 22 owners. There is a lot of work, time and expense to hosting a forum. The Catalina 27 and Catalina 30 International Associations are located at www.Catalina27.org and www.Catalina30.com Both their forums are hosted by chatrooms through Yahoo. You contact the appropriate association and they add you to their chatroom list as long as you agree to be nice. The C27 has no fees to their assocition but the C25 and C30 Association has fees. All the Catalina websites have Frequently Asked Question sections and lots of other stuff that is very helpful. For example the C22 website has a Tech manual on a CD that can be purchased with a membership and you get a quarterly color magazine when you become a member. I believe the other associations publish an email newsletter for members also. Hope this information helps. |
