01/27/2004 2:11 PM Pacific Time I have 1974 C22. I had a pair of new style keel hangers donated to me from a friend. Upon removing my existing hangers I noted that the new ones would position the keel so it would increase the draft approx. 1". That is to say, the new hangers did not protrude as far into the hull as the old ones. Is this normal? I didn't install them as I didn't know if it would be a "bad" thing in regards to how the keel would be situated in the keel trunk. Any experience or thoughts? Thanks!
