I suggest that this new thread be a listing of everyones recommended sources of C22 information. Many of us get a significant amount of our information about all aspects of C22 sailing from computer web sites, discussion boards, clubs and networks as well as from personal contacts. I am asking people to list their favorite sources of information so that all C22 sailors can enlarge their network of information gathering tools. Please mention: the name of the source, how to access it, and a short list of the obvious advantages and shortcomings of each.

The Trailer/Sailors Association is an excellent organization to belong to. The cost is minimal and they provide all kinds of services. They sponsor cruises each summer which are great for the kids, both young and older. They also have an active discussion list as well as a publication. One of the things I find most useful is their listing of other members and also a launch ramp listing. It is easy to contact members in other parts of the country and obtain in depth information about the sailing opportunities in their area. You can find the association at: www.trailersailors.org |
