Hello all
This will be the first year with Glory Days, I downsized my home and boat last year (prior Catalina 25 owner)
Anyway I just used a product called SafeRestore on my mast. It was the easiest thing I ever did and I am extremly pleased with the results. The company also sells a clear coat to mimic an anodized finish, but this is a bit pricey. I paid $25 for a gallon, and can prob do masts for a lifetime.
The company name is eaco care. If anyone e-mails me at sailorguy53@optonline I will fax the brochure. There is a website, but the address escapes me. Be careful though use water as the product is caustic. I had no ill effects on my hull even though my mast has been stepped and is laying on the boat
