I am trying to get a stern pulpit shipped. The seller is willing to cut it in half. Any ideas on how to pack it for shipment and the cost? |

I bought one from Catalina direct several years back. It was shipped in a huge carboard box, I think it was wraped in the foam tape to prevent scrathes. It is pretty tough and hard to stack any thing on top of it, Mine arrived undamaged!

I bought mine that way a couple of years ago. After cutting it, the seller taped the pieces together with some cardboard between the areas that made contact and cardboard over ends that could damage other things. It arrived just fine and at a much cheaper cost than it would have as one piece.
