i have a very small leak somewhere on my dinette side. i have rebedded everything on my boat. stancions, pulpits, handrails, etc, etc and i still in a heavy rain get s stream of water coming down the side of the hull in the aft dinette compartment. i took the entire rubrail off and rebedded it to. some of the screws in my jib track turn freely and i think this might be where it is coming in at. any suggestions on how to reseal thoseas i cannot get to the bolts underneath. thanks |

probebly the windows
try some food coloring in a spry bottle just after the rain
it will follow the water path and color it.Just wash it off later

Greg,
I don't think, emphasize think, that there are bolts for the jib track screws. If you can remove the loose bolts, get rid of amy moisture by filling the holes with alchohol, remove the alcohol and fill with epoxy. Then drill and tap the epoxy to match the screws.
Note: That should be a high piority project.
