Hi,
I have posted recently about ways to dry sail a 1984 Catalina 22. I am about to go ahead with a configuration suggested for making slings to the cleats fore and aft.
I heard a rumor of someone who rigged up a lifting ring to the centerboard trunk or swing bolt. Does anyone know if this has been done, and how to do it?

Mike,
I hoist my boat from the keel bolts, but I have a wing keel. I don't know if my rig would work for a swing keel. I don't even have to lower the mast or anything like that. I have my boat in the water and sailing within 30 minutes of getting to my club. Let me know if you still want to know how my rig works. |
