I have a 2001 Dadge Ram 1500 with the 360 engine. It has the full tow package. Will i be able to trailer my '79 C25 swing keel and ramp it? Any help would be appreciated.

It should do just fine. I towed mine with a 302cu. in. Ford van.

Lauch and haul can be difficult with 2wd,you will spin the tires right off depending on how steep the ramp is.Pulling the empty trailer out is easy but if going back up the ramp top get straight....could get noisy.
I launch and haul our c22 with a s10,4x4,4.3 without a problem but it will not do it in 2wd. |

If you have problems pulling the boat up a launch ramp with a 2wd truck, you may wish to get a trailer extension for your trailer |

An extension wll surely drown the trailer to help get the boat all the way to the trailer mast but I'm lost as to how it affects the tongue weight, hence traction?

It hopefully will keep your tires on the dry area of the ramp! A tow strap works fine too, and cheaper than a extention. |
