Me and my dad have been working on the wood work on our c22 over the winter
We made new hatch boards, hatchboard holders, and pretty much everything to do with hatchboards.
We made everything thicker than factory.

anyway here are some pics. (link to my photobucket page)

I forgot to add, we haven't yet cleaned off the old bedding compound to the side of the left crib board holder. Ignore that lol..

Excellent work! The quality and appearance of your crib boards are something to be envied. I'm in the process of restoring my C-22. I'm wondering if you have a working schematic of your work? Any input from you would be greatly appreciated.

Any idea how the african mahogany holds up over time to salt and the elements?

We used it on a small front entry deck step up which is subject to our freezing winter and it looks like new after 10 years, compared to the other part of the deck which was replaced at the same time. We also used it on interior and exterior projects on our C30 as it was cheaper than teak but looked the same when oiled.

Congratulations on a great job with the website, the upgrades, and for sharing your joy in upgrading "Gypsy Girl". Good luck, and it was especially pleasing to see a 'father-son" project!!!
