I recently purchased 1994 Catalina 22 wing keel, I dont intend to use the sink, but was wondering if the valve handle on the drain line shound be in the up(vertical)or down(horizontal) position??? Thanks. |

I am assuming you have a 1/4 turn ball valve (90° rotation from full open to full closed). When open, the handle will be in line with the flow path, when full closed, the handle will be perpendicular to the flow path.
