This past Sunday we left a rather large strip of our head sail in the lake. We know it made contact with the spreader. It was not a good day for our Catalina 22. We are confident the sail is damaged beyond repair. We are convinced it was the original sail. Consequently, we must purchase a new head sail. Can someone provide a primer on sail size? I have an idea what the different percentages mean (150%, 135%, 110%) when looking to purchase the sail, but I want to be immensely sure what I need when ordering the sail. In addition, I have a roller furler. Any information will be greatly appreciated. |
