Are there any reccomended products for general mast cleaning and waxing? Boaters World reccomends a product from Woody but it is pretty pricey.

Eric, Some of our Fleet Members just tried out a Product called Easy Dab, although we were trying it to clean off surface rust on Stainless Steel it will clean anything and its effortless just wipe it on gently rub and watch rust dirt and most anything else disolve. To say we were impressed would be a understatment. To find out who sells it in your area call 1-800-628-2436 Best of all it sells for about 4.00 - 4.50 a quart.

it leaves a film that must be wiped off after five minutes(easy to remove) and then seems to have a coating left. I'm not going to put anything on top of the things I've cleaned with it and see what happens. everything is pretty slick after cleaning with it. |

I checked out the web site and Easy Dab is a bacteriostatic creme cleanser intended for food preparation equipment. A little overkill but if it works use it. To order it in qt. bottles or 50 gal drums ( for you really clean types ) call Mike Holland of Hoke Distributing Inc. at 800 535 1477. |

So I used it and it works pretty well. I paid about $3 a bottle from the local distributor down in the warehouse district here in Dallas. I've got a bottle left over if anyone wants it - just email ([email protected]) me with your address and I will ship it over. |
