Jib Downhaul Kit CP-22, C-22, Sport, C-25

Part #: D2310
Especially useful to those who are sailing short handed. A small line controlled from the cockpit leads up the jib luff to the jib halyard shackle. Cast off the halyard and trim the downhaul and you easily bring the jib on deck. It also prevents the wind from blowing the jib back up the forestay.
Typically mounted on the port side of the boat so as to be near the jib halyard. Since the jib halyard is always on the port side of the boat too, it is easy to cast off the halyard and haul the downhaul at the same time.
