Ice Box Lid Insulation Container Small

Part #: H1728
$72.36
This is the container used on the under side of the ice box lid to provide space and protection for foam insulation. Without this insulation, heat intrudes into your ice box, rapidly melting the ice.

Sold per set of two as shown.

Fill the container with spray-in closed cell foam to increase the efficiency of your ice box or to reduce battery consumption if equipped with refrigeration.

As the foam expands, it will overfill the container. Allow the foam to cure completely, then trim it flush with a bread knife or small hand saw. Be careful to avoid cutting the plastic container as you trim the foam.

Attach to the lid with 4 screws per piece. The stainless steel screws and special fender washers are included. Tighten the screws until they are just snug.
If you over tighten the screws you will break off the corner tabs. Broken tabs are not covered under warranty.
Each piece measures 10-3/4" X 8-3/4" X 3-5/8" deep.
The tooling used to produce these parts is over 42 years old now. The parts they produce are no longer as pristine as when the molds were used in the production of new boats. Luckily the flaws and imperfections in the finished product are cosmetic in nature and don't effect the integrity of the product.
