This, as well as the original hose used by Catalina Yachts, is very high quality. It better be since it is the only thing between you and a trip to the bottom!

The problem is the hose looks good long after it should have been replaced. One customer reported removing a good hose on his Catalina 22 to check the keel turning ball. When he twisted the hose, it unlaid in his hands! Safer to replace it a bit early than a bit too late.
