In this case it is a fuzzy, soft double braid Dacron line that is easy on your hands. Because it is fuzzy, it is a bit larger in diameter than its 3/8 inch nominal size indicates. That's just the right size because it is easier to grip without the extra friction caused by larger 7/16 inch diameter size as it runs through the blocks. Suitable for the Catalina 22.
