Used in the aft hole of the pair at the front of the masthead, it secures the top of the forestay to the masthead.
Diameter: 1/4"
Grip: 1-7/8"
Used in the forward hole of the pair it was originally intended that the spinnaker halyard block hang from it. In reality there was never enough room for a spinnaker halyard block to fit without hitting the forestay. Today we use this pin as one of three that secures our Masthead Spinnaker Crane to the masthead truck casting.
