Replacement stainless steel tip assembly and socket for the telescoping tiller extension, PT Z2032 or Z2033. Replacement is easy in that the pin in the fork is pushed out and the new tip is installed with a new pin that is provided.
CAUTION! The short drive pin at the top of the photo holds the entire assembly together. When you remove the drive pin, if you fail to contain the parts against the internal spring tension by holding the gray button in, the small parts will fly everywhere! The individual parts are not available separately.
The design of the tiller extension changed in the mid 90's. Earlier tips had flats on the sides where the drive pin is installed and are no longer available.
If you have an earlier version, you will need to order a complete new tiller extension.
When you order this special order item it sets off a chain of events like Willie Wonka in the chocolate factory. Once you turn the valve the chocolate is coming down the pipe. If you then decide you want caramel, the chocolate is still going to come out of the pipe. We can't put the Chocolate back in the pipe, so someone is going to have to eat it, and it's not going to be us! Your order can't be canceled, returned, or magically changed into caramel, so please order carefully the first time!
