Tiller head for 2.35" diameter rudder post includes cast tiller straps for Catalina 30.

This part was was also used as a replacement for the original Catalina 27 tiller head also. The original part for the Catalina 27 with a 1.65" diameter rudder shaft is no longer available. The new part number includes the shim as shown which makes it functional for the Catalina 27 shaft diameter.

Since the Catalina 30 uses a more robust tiller than the Catalina 27, Catalina 27 owners retrofitting to this new part will need to upgrade their tiller as well. See the tiller below under "May we also suggest" part #K1240.
