These are shaped specifically for the standard boom used on the Catalinas listed below. They are not appropriate for use on boats with in-mast furling.

1) All of these parts were essentially custom made, in tiny batches, by guys using machines both large and small. Each hole was punched one at a time and the plate was then shaped by hand. As a result, there is some variation to be expected from one part to the next and from one hole to the next. To help accommodate this variation, we make the following allowances: The original clearance holes for the 1/4" fasteners were punched to 0.265". The holes in the new bracket are punched to 0.290". This provides 0.040 of extra clearance provide some latitude in mounting. It is possible that some minor additional reaming will be necessary if one or more of your existing mounting holes are farther out of alignment than we expect.

2) This part does not include any other components of the boom vang. It is just the boom bracket.
