• Fasteners: Three #10 flat or oval head.
• Maximum deck mounting hole diameter: 1-7/8" (If the hole is larger, the mounting screws will not have sufficient deck to fasten to)
• Nominal pipe thread size: 1-1/4-11-1/2 NPSM
• Thread diameter (male): 1.596"
• Thread diameter (female): 1.532"

Customers report that in some cases the included cap replaces their old cap nicely. In many other cases, even when the dimensions match, differences in thread pitch or thread form prevents the cap from fitting. In these cases it will be necessary to replace the entire Deck Fill Pipe assembly.

Sorry, there is no way to tell in advance if thread pitch or thread form is a perfect match. As reported by the manufacturers, even parts sold by the same company, over time, have had pitch or form change. That is why we offer the complete Deck Fill Pipe rather than the cap only.

The mounting holes will not align with the original so you must rotate the pipe slightly and drill new mounting holes.
