These small chrome plated spring steel clips were used on early Catalinas to secure the extruded aluminum curtain track to the interior. Catalina continued to use the same clips even after the aluminum track was superseded by plastic track. But since the plastic isn't as stiff as the aluminum, the plastic track would sag between clips. Some customers solved the problem by adding more clips.
