This simple part, if it were domestic dimensions, could be reproduced from simple bar stock. Unfortunately its metric dimensions, 6mm thick x 19mm wide, make it difficult to easily reproduce in your shop. Add very limited demand that prevents mass production to the fact that the part had to be shipped half way around the world to get to your door, and the result is a ridiculously high sale price for this item. If you can find a way to fashion one for yourself, we would recommend it, but if not, we have them available.
